Some friends of mine, neighbors as well.. I will call her Karen, and call him George..
George had cancer and was close to his time to pass over.. I was at their house and we were outside on the back patio, Karen, Brenda (George's brothers wife), and I. I began walking around the open end to keep out of their cigarette smoke, as we chatted.
I felt that there was something for me to do, I began to block out their conversation and focus on the surroundings. I then became aware of the spirits close to the house and then the ones in the house. Many had come in preparation to George's passing from this life to the next. But I really became aware of a personage standing in Georges bedroom, at his head. My first impression was: this was his place/station, and then I knew it was Don, Karen and George's son, who had passed 3 years earlier.
Don told me, at that moment he would like for me to bring in his mother and his sister Cindy. I spoke to Karen, saying that if she wanted to be with her son, he was in her bedroom right now, and wanted to have her in there with him.
Karen went to the head of her husbands side of the bed, and stood. It was instantly that Don put his right arm around his mothers shoulders, and held her to him. Karen was totally aware of this and began to cry... he squeezed her closer, her shoulders becoming a bit narrower then usual. I knew he also wanted Cindy in the room. I asked Karen if I should go get Cindy, and she said no.. so I waited a time.
Then I asked her again, letting her know that Don wanted Cindy in there and of course Karen said for me to go and get her. I opened the latched bedroom door and Cindy was close at the door, holding the forgotten monitor in her hand. She was mouthing to me, that other relatives seated in the kitchen were listening in..
I asked Cindy to go in and stand next to her mother, and that Don had a message for her. Cindy went and stood for a few moments and then began fussing around her dad's bedclothes and such. Figgiting. I suggested she stand still, she tried, but she couldn't. I suggested she be still and she finally gave up in frustration and left the room.
I knew whatever Don wanted to tell Cindy was very important.
I told Cindy later, that Don still had his message he wanted to give her as soon as she was done with what she was doing. (She had begun making pies to keep herself busy)
When she finished her pies and had some in the oven, Cindy was again ready to go back into her folks bedroom and resume listening to what Don was wanting to tell her. She was not sure at first, and then I felt little by little, how to instruct her on what to do next. Cindy was able to get from her brother that he loved her. She felt that was the message, but I told her that was to let her know what it felt like to Receive his "voice".
About that time, Rick, George's brother, came into the room, unannounced and uninvited. At that instant, Don backed away from Cindy, until his back was against the far wall from Rick. From there Don waited. Rick left. After a few minutes... Don instructed me to again encourage Cindy. Cindy was working on it again, I could see that Don had walked up close to Cindy, standing right in front of her, facing her and had both hands on Cindy's upper arms and was bending toward her left ear. It was so obvious when Cindy received the message.
Cindy shuddered and almost fell, as her knees both buckled and the look on her face was incredulous. At that point as she said to me, "I've got it", I felt to back out of the room and shut the door.
I know there were 35 Spirits in the house. I could actually see them to count them. Some were in the living room, others in the TV room, and dining room. I also know there were four in Karen and George's bedroom These four as far as we could ascertain, were Don, their son. George's Grandma.. and Uncle Sam and a young woman, tall, light haired, that was in her early 20's. These four stayed in the room until George passed from this life. And then sometime after that, the young woman and Uncle Sam rejoined the others from the other rooms, that were then departing.
Don and Grandma stayed with George, in the room, until his mortal body was removed, at which time, Grandma left the room and Don went with his father.. to remain with the body till it is buried in the ground. Don was his father's escort.
When the other spirits in the house left, along with Grandma and Uncle Sam, others came in their stead. To take care of Karen, little Katie, their young adopted daughter, and Cindy. There were 15 Spirits for this part.. and they are called Ministering Angels.
There is another part of this story, before George passed away..
Brenda, Karen and Georges other daughter.. came in, the night before George passed. So did her two teen aged children and several spirits. These spirits were not the same as the family Spirits in and throughout the house.. at this point, Cindy asked me to stay and spend the night with them all.. to continue to assist with this work.
At one point, Brenda went into the bathroom and then after a loooong while, she came out acting all strange and angry.. getting into her mother's face, screaming at her, as well as her own daughters face. (the teenager) Brenda acted as if she was higher then a kite. (I don't know for sure if that was the case or not, but that was how it appeared to me and to Cindy.) At that time, George became quite agitated and started getting quite loud in his moaning and groaning, where for the previous 2 days and nights he had been totally quiet. He remained that way for a long while.
Cindy was afraid her father was in pain, and asked her mother to call the on-call nurse, which Karen did. the nurse came and catheterized George, to no avail, as he had no moisture left. The nurse told Karen and Cindy that George was very agitated. That the stress in the house was upsetting him.
Around 3:40 A.M., the house settled down and Karen went to bed. Cindy and I settled on the couches. I could tell there had been a rift in the house... as if a splintering had taken place. (Later I was to learn what had taken place) The time-frame that Brenda was "high" and in her mothers face, she created something that was not to be tolerated. The good spirits in the three rooms left, for a time, not because they were scared. Not because they were not able to deal with it... but because they were there as reverent family and friends. As such, they were required to leave when the "Familiar Spirits" (evil) that had come with Brenda, started acting up.. (when she did, they did...)
As the reverent family and friends left, this made room for the Warring Angels to come in and literally clear out the bad spirits. When Brenda settled down, and stayed on the phone, there was a sense of peace.. but this peace was kept by the Warring Angels, and sometime after we slept, it seems that the family and friends (Spirits) were "allowed" to re-enter the house.
At 8:10 A.M., George moaned loudly and he stayed in that state of agitation till his nurse came around 2:15 P.M., as if he himself was on guard against any other stress for his wife. I believe Cindy when she said.. her dad wouldn't die without his Nurse present to assist Karen. For if Brenda had resumed her drub habit action, she would have re-invited the bad spirits back into the house.
It is my feeling that as sick as he was, he was angered/agitated at the actions of his daughter Brenda toward his wife.

Tidbits of info....
There was a period of time, when Cindy was able to hear voices on the monitor. She had brought these in so they could hear every movement George made. She heard her name and it gave her the "willies". Cindy was not able to sit by while Karen and I listened intently, wanting to hear them. Cindy kept busy making noise and rattling cookware.
Cindy had heard her name mentioned twice, and then after she had been called me into the kitchen, she and I heard it again. It was awesome. Of course Karen wanted to hear also.

There came a time when we were able to hear the voices through the monitor.... to me it was an incredible witness of the afterlife, and the Love of our Savior, that even in this "darkest" hour, we are never alone.

Another time:
Karen was standing in front of her wood stove, and feeling the spirits as they walked past her. Karen had become so sensitive to them.

The Four Spirits in the Bedroom..
I saw a lady in George and Karen's bedroom, as if sitting on a chair, next to George. On his right side, where actually the bed was. Don always stayed on the left side nears his father's head. This lady was lovingly ministering to George. Caressing his face and arm, letting him know she was there. She was a short lady with short curly white hair. She had a look of love on her face for George. And her back was to the door. As I described her to Karen and Cindy.. they brought out photo albums.. I identified her as the lady they said was George's beloved Grandmother.
There was a young woman in the room at the foot of the bed. Tall, slender, about 25 years old, with light hair. She was pretty. She maintained her watch from the that spot. We could not really figure out who she was.
There was a man, he referred to himself as a "bald portly gentleman"... and I could tell has a great sense of humor. His eyes just dance when he talks. He maintained no spot but traversed around the room. In a patient calm manner. Again, from a photo, he was George's Uncle Sam.
Even though I never saw Don's face clearly, I knew who he was, The others, I did see their faces clearly. As they had each meant me to see them.

The people in the TV room, I remember one lady sitting on the sofa, with one leg crossed over the knee of the other. People were gathered as they would be at any mortal gathering. Sitting and standing and walking and softly talking amongst themselves. Some would wander to other rooms to chat with other Spirits. All were quiet and reverent. Nicely Dressed.

There was a time, I could sense that George wanted only his wife and Daughter Cindy with him. (Brenda was not there yet). I was allowed in only as I was the mediator between the Spirits and Karen and Cindy.
George and Karen's bedroom was as quiet and peaceful as the most sacred Chapel or Temple. I believe this is an important note, in that we are all so special to our Heavenly Father, that the hour of our passing is of great importance to Him. It is Sacred!!
